6 3.6 out of 5 stars Disappointed but not surprised By: Kunal Nayak | September 15, 2018 | 4:25pmI’ve been using a Chrome extension to show me the latest news in a small, dark tab for a while now.
It works fine but I’d like to be able to skip past a few articles.
The article section looks a bit empty, so I’d also like to know if the news is new or if it’s from a news aggregator.
The app is still showing as an article, but that doesn’t seem to work, and I’m not sure what to do.
Chrome extension: This is a pretty simple extension, but the article section has to be shown by default.
I’ll leave that for you to decide.
It does look like it could be worth adding, but I don’t think I’d use it for everything.
The main issue I have with this app is the app is currently showing as a news article, which means you’ll need to click the tab title for it to show up in the app.
Chrome Extension: It would be nice if you could skip past an article and skip past the article itself.
For now, this article is showing up in an article tab and that doesn: • show the app itself as an active tab on your desktop.
• show a large list of all your recent articles in the news section of the app, so you can jump back and forth between those.
• hide all the tabs in the background to avoid showing up as an app.
• add a tab to your home screen, or use it as a quick shortcut to other tabs.
• make a bookmark or drag and drop it to your bookmarks list in the extension.
• and more…
I hope Chrome Extension is working as intended.
