With a lot of players already on the cusp of free agency, Eagles fans may have to wait a bit longer for the team to find their next quarterback.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said that he and general manager Howie Roseman will continue to pursue players in the coming weeks.
Kelly has been reluctant to make any major personnel changes in free agency and that’s because he believes he’s not in a position to get them.
According the Inquireer, Kelly said he’s “never been one to say, ‘I’ve got to do something with that guy,'” adding, “I’m not going to change the philosophy or the approach to winning, which is what we’re trying to do.
I want to win.”
